    1. Morning Morning

First, guests will meet their guide for the Napoli city tour at a nominated and easy to reach meeting point.
At the initial meeting point the guide will provide a brief introduction and itinerary for the day and from here, taxi to Spaccanapoli, which is a long and narrow incredibile street that literally ‘cuts’ Naples in two parts .
Spaccanapoli is famous for its energetic and colorful street life and is at the very heart of where an epic 2700 years’ worth of history is revealed. Every stop provides a missing piece to a puzzle of experiences ranging from ancient greek and roman originals, medieval architecture, baroque palaces and opulent art.
Undoubtably one of the top highlights in this area is the visit to Cappella S. Severo’, a private chapel considered a true testament to the Italian Baroque style. However, there is more magic and mystery than meets the eye in the Church as it houses, among the many, a sculptured masterpiece known as the Cristo Velato, the Veiled Christ. A statue carved from one block of marble detailing a thinly sculpted veil over the deceased Christ, this veil is so delicate it appears identical to wet drapery.

After this hidden jewel you’ll be taken ‘Underground’ to discover Napoli of 2700 years ago ( by the Church of San Lorenzo). Nobody knew until the 80’s that underneath the new town there lied the old greek and roman city and this will be the unbelievable experience of the day.

After the underground we will ‘re-emerge’and break for lunch and indulge in eating the famous Pizza Margherita.

    2. Afternoon Afternoon

After a few footsteps an easy walk will lead to the monumental area of the city. Here to be discovered is an incredibile concentration of historical and unique buildings created over several centuries: Maschio Angioino, one of the 4 castles found in Naples, Galleria Umberto 1’, (the historical art nouveau shopping mall), Teatro S.Carlo and PalazzoReale (the Royal Palace).
Throughout the stroll the guide will provide both a historical explanation and point out the curiosities and uniqueness to each building. An‘espresso’ coffee break will be guaranteed at the famous cafeteria, Gambrinus, where an original vibrant atmosphere of the ‘Belle Epoque’is still truly alive.

Rounding out the tour will be a visit to the terrace of Castel dell’Ovo that boasts a magic view over the city skyline. This is where the tour will conclude, and the guide will assist with any further query and organize a transfer for you.
