    1. Day 1 Arrivo alla Location

      Guests will be met at the entrance of Porta Marina Inferiore (by the Suisse Café) and  their guide will carry an easy to identify sign reading, Pompei Grand Tour

      – Start Time: 11:00am

      –  After a brief introduction to the archeological site of Pompei the tour will visit the area of the theaters.  From the atmosphere of comedies and tragedies , guests will  travel along Pompei’s preserved ancient main street systems to explore some famous patrician’s house that contains vibrant frescoes, mosaics and rich decorations, where there are traces and  evidence of ancient life of the  wealthy inhabitants of Pompei. Then further exploring, discovering shopfronts, bakeries and tavernas, to then arrive at the thermal baths.   Close to the activity of the baths is the lupanare revealing the erotic life and  all ‘scandalous’ things ( unless extremely busy)

      – To finalize a visit of Pompei nobody can ever miss seeing the Forum, which was the centralized area to the entire city.  Not only does the forum contain the most important buildings of religious and political value, here is where it is possible to see some of the famous plaster casts of those who fell victim to the merciless wrath of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

    • It is advised to wear comfortable shoes at all times of the year. During the summer months sunscreen, water and a hat is also recommended for the visit
